I'm not going to do a proper update, simply because I don't have time right now. Well... I tell a lie, I probably do have the time, but I'm far too lazy. Instead, I found these in someone's blog, and did them to avoid studying for my maths exam. Have fun.

1. Maggie
2. Jonathan
3. Sam
4. Ihita
5. Chris
6. Cassie
7. Zoe
8. Eshleigh
9. Aaron
10. Pearl
11. Sean
12. Mitchell
13. Amanpreet

1. How did you meet 4?
Through the cross country.
2. What would you do if you never met 19?
Not have any close friends at school.
3. What would you do if you dated 15?
Ask her to teach me how to sing beautifully.
4. Have you ever seen 8 cry?
Possibly, I don't really know.
5. Would 3 and 13 make a good couple?
Hahahaha maybe, if they were a little closer in age. I think they'd get on well enough.
6. Describe 20.
Indefatigable.
7. Do you like 6?
Of course.
8. Do you think 5 is attractive?
Not personally, although a lot of people do.
9. When was the last time you talked to 1?
Yesterday, at school.
10. Would you ever kill 19?
Um, no.
11. Where does 18 live?
The Northern Beaches, I believe.
12. What is the best thing about 12?
He's not quite as annoying as he could be.
13. What would you like to tell 8 right now?
Squeeeeeeee!
14. What is the best thing about 10?
She can be very understanding.
15. Have you ever kissed 11?
Rofl! No.
16. What’s the best memory you have of 14?
Probably the time he tickled me and I fell backwards off a bench and hit my head on a metal trolley, and he was all apologetic afterwards.
17. When is the next time you’re gonna see 16?
At BMC next year, I'd say.
18. Is 5 pretty?
I don't know, although I assume not as he's a guy.
19. What was your first impression of 17?
A very easy going person!
20. Is 13 a good friend?
She's an awesome person, but I'm not particularly close to her.
21. Have you seen 21 in the last month?
Yep, at school during English and Commerce.
23. Have you been to 1’s house?
No, actually. Are you really close to 16?
Not really no.
26. Would you give 11 a hug?
Sure!
28. Do you know a secret about 12?
I suppose so. (It just skipped another number!)
29. Describe the relationship between 17 and 7.
They're good friends.
30. What’s your friendship like with 21?
Same as it is with Eda (13).
31. Have you ever danced with 2?
Hahahahahaha! Nope.
32. How do you know 6?
From BMC.
33. Does 9 have a bf/gf?
Not that I know of.
34. Have you ever wanted to punch 7 in the face?
No.
35. Has 14 met your mother?
Nope, although I'd like to see what would go down.
36. Have you travelled anywhere with 15?
No.
37. If you gave 10 $100, what would they spend it on?
I'm not really sure. Clothes?
38. What is your best memory of 2?
July 5 2008
39. What is the one thing you most want 18 to know?
That you're the most politically, musically and... generally aware person of your age I've ever met.
40. What was the last thing you did with 3?
Talked to him, if that counts as doing something.
41. When did you meet 20?
Possibly at BMC 2004, I don't remember. If not, the Braille competition ceremony that same year.
42. What do you like least about 9?
Um, I don't really know him well enough to not like much about him.

And another one... God these are time wasters.

PART 1
- Are you allowed to have a bf/gf?
It wouldn’t be encouraged.
- Describe yourself in one word.
Er... odd?
-	Who would you pick, someone who really loves you, or the one you love?
To be in a relationship with? Neither, if there was no reciprocation whatsoever.
-	Have you ever loved someone BEFORE but never had the courage to tell him/her?
Loved? I dunno about loved. Liked, certainly. Although at least one of them found out in the end.
-	Does it feel good to love?
Sometimes.
-	What will you say to someone who doesn't want to believe you?
Are we still talking about love? I dunno if I’d say this, but I’d probably be thinking, “I don’t blame you.”
-	God is giving u just 5 more minutes before going back to heaven, IF you love someone special, what will you say to that person?
“Find someone else, be happy,” all that kinda stuff. Either that or “So long, bitch.”
-	Was there ever a time that you tried to learn to love someone?
Why are these questions getting so personal? I... suppose, kind of, although not really.
-	What's your opinion about someone who's jealous?
I know exactly how they feel.
- What can you say about playboys/playgirls?
Meh.

PART 2
- Best place to cry?
Being hugged by someone.
-	Who do you love the most?
My family.
-	Tell us your dream last night?
I don’t really remember, something to do with Eshleigh getting married.
- Ever hated someone so bad?
Never.
-	The biggest & most hurtful lie you heard?
Probably when someone denied doing something that they did.

THE LAST PERSON...
- You had a beer with?
I’ve never had one.
-	Went to the movies with?
Chris and Fran, we saw Wall.E.
-	Talked on the cell phone to?
Jonathan.
-	You hugged?
My Dad.
-	You yelled at?
Probably my Mum, although that wouldn’t have been full on yelling.

THE LAST TIME YOU...
- Kissed someone?
My Mum probably, don’t remember when.
-	Danced crazy?
Crazy? At Hailey’s fifteenth party.
-	Were angry, and why?
Truly angry, rather than just frustrated? I’d say some time near the beginning of this year, and probably because of my teenagedness/obsessiveness or something.

I'll be more interesting next time, I promise!

Soup, Skype and Singstar. Two are my enemies, one is my friend.

I return once more, with riveting tales of hot pants and depraved males... or maybe it’s the other way around...

On Tuesday, after an hour or two of work, msn and... no, not msn, work... let’s start that again. After an hour or two, I decided that I should take a well-deserved break. There was some rather appetizing soup just waiting to be... eaten? Drunk? Consumed, so I heated it up in the microwave and prepared to carry it to my table using an oven mitt. I carefully lifted the bowl in both hands, the delicious aroma possibly making me a tad lightheaded. Before I even started to move, the contents of my bowl began, (not at all gracefully as they always seem to portray in books and films), to head earthward. I registered a rather loud splattering sound.

The situation was quite manageable, I thought obstinately. After a slight pause, I headed for the table. More soup found its way onto my hands, the floor, my socks... and then, as I edged down three steps, I suddenly felt a cascade of hot liquid course down my pants. And no, my bladder was quite empty at the time, thank you very much.

I was on the verge of expelling some very uncharacteristically foul swearwords at this point, probably to the amusement of all but myself. After being laughed at byJonathanandSam,I spent several tedious (and rather revolting) minutes crawling around on the floor, trying to clean up the mess. The seriousness of my predicament was only exacerbated by the presence of kernels of corn and strands of egg in the soup. No doubt I managed to ingrain a number of these into the floor in my endeavors to remove any trace of them, but such is life. I really was looking forward to that soup, too!

The day did improve, however, and I spent a very enjoyable 2 hours listening toLife is Beautifulwith Jonathan. It’s the kind of movie that manages to be simultaneously hilarious, sweet, thought-provoking and heartrending, and I recommend it to... well, everyone.

This was followed by a random and deeply amusing conversation between Jonathan, my schoolfriend Moggie (Maggie) and me. We discussed everything fromthistothis, and my rather nonexistent reputation was somewhat jeopardized, not that I care much.

Four hours of Wednesday consisted of “family time”, aka driving forever, finding somewhere to eat lunch, spending an agonizingly long time waiting for a table, eating too much and feeling rather sick, then... driving back home. I’m not one of those angsty teenagers who fervently despise their parents... am I? I’d like to think not, and it’s not as if I don’t get along with them, I just don’t confide in them nearly as much as I do in my friends. I guess I don’t really discuss my parents all that much here, but I’d be interested to see what you guys think, those of you who know me fairly well.

Thursday morning/afternoon was taken up by another msn conversation between Jonathan, a couple of schoolfriends and me. I left them to it, departing at around 3:00 to watch a movie with Fran, Chris and my cousins Mitchell and Mason. We sawEagle Eye,which wasn’t too bad, but was probably rather clichéd as far as movies go. The theme was very intriguing, and I was lost in thought throughout much of the film. It was based around a very complex computer, which was created for the sole purpose of eliminating threats to the national security of the US. But the computer kind of goes a bit crazy and decides that the best thing to do is to kill loads of people, including the President, and blackmail people into carrying out its dirty work.

This got me thinking about right and wrong, and how to decide/define who and what is right or wrong, and things like that. I vaguely remember having a similar conversation withJonathansome time in August, and it was also strongly reminiscent of Sword of Truth, one part of book 8 in particular. The passage in question went something like this:

"But we must reach a consensus," one man said.
"For what purpose?" Richard asked.
"In order for our decision to be correct," he explained. "No proper decision about the right course of action in any important situation can be made without a consensus."
"You are attempting to give moral authority to mob rule," Richard said.
"But a consensus points to the proper moral judgment," another man insisted, "because it is the will of the people."
"I see," Richard said. "So what you're saying is that if all of you men decide to rape my sister, here, then it's a moral act because you have a consensus to rape her, and if I oppose you, I'm immoral for standing alone and failing to have a consensus behind me. That about the way you men see it?"
The men shrank back in confused revulsion. One spoke up.
"Well... no, not exactly—"
"Right and wrong are not the product of consensus," Richard said, cutting him off. "You are trying to make a virtue of mob rule. Rational moral choices are based on the value of life, not a consensus. A consensus can't make the sun rise at midnight, nor can it change a wrong into a right, or the other way around. If something is wrong, it matters not if a thousand other men are for it; you must still oppose it. If something is just, no amount of popular outcry should stay you from your course.

It is my belief that this sentiment, however gallant and righteous it may sound, is vehemently opposed by most–if not all aspects of society today. “Rational moral choices are based on the value of life, not a consensus.” But many decisions in terms of the value of life are made, or at least influenced, by popular beliefs and judgments. We only make these decisions because of what we have experienced, i.e. what we have seen and heard about and from other people. If we happen to make a decision that directly opposes that of the majority, we begin to question ourselves. Surely, if they all have minds that work just as well as our own, and they all reached a different conclusion to us, they must be right. People who have done what Richard proclaims at the end of this passage are often labeled as madmen or criminals, just look atGalileo.

Our justice system is, in fact, based upon this very idea. Usually, a jury is selected to either convict or clear a defendant. This is generally the case for particularly serious crimes, such as murder. This would seem to place emphasis on the importance of “mob rule”, as Goodkind calls it.

This idea led me to think about reality versus opinion, and about how all (or most) of reality must, to some degree, be based on opinion. An example of this would be federal elections. All we’re really doing when we decide who will be responsible for the running of our country is gathering and evaluating everybody else’s opinions, and formulating our own from these. This is not true, you might argue. If the working-class citizens of the country are struggling to pay the bills because of the high cost of living and low wages etc, and one party proposes a plan to tackle this matter, obviously that’s fact, right? Perhaps, but it all depends on how effective people think the plan will be. Then there are those wonderful things called statistics. Did you know that 78% of statistics are made up? Additionally, it’s usually possible for both sides to back up their arguments using statistics.

The only areas in which opinion does not play such a large role, in my opinion, oh, wait... hahahahaha! I swear that was completely unintentional! are in science and maths. One plus one equals two, there’s no doubt about that. Then again... Galileo comes to mind once more, as does the guy who was supposedly the true discoverer of Pythagoras’ Theorem and was executed for it. That might just be made up though, so don’t quote me on it. Either way, these people made scientific and mathematical discoveries that turned out to be correct, but they were ridiculed and condemned during their time because popular beliefs directly opposed their discoveries. There, I think I just proved my opinion wrong!

Thankfully for you guys, I think that’s as far as my thoughts managed to roam before the movie ended, and we headed for dinner. Strange philosophical rant over, I promise. Dinner was an interesting affair involving mobile phones, chicken heads, pestilential cousins and chocolate bars, and the throwing around thereof. When I arrived back at home I had several hours’ worth of interesting conversation to read, and overall Thursday was very happy and cool.

Friday, apart from being bloody hot, was awesome also. After some extremely amusing msn conversations, Moggie arrived at our house, we picked up Alyce and my Mum drove us all to Ihita’s place. After eating lunch, we traipsed down to the park, before the others realized that they had forgotten to bring the camera. Moggie and Ihita went to get it, and came back with a dog, which had apparently been following them for quite some time.

After taking some photos, we retired to the cool sanctuary of the house, and, having reunited the dog with its owner, proceeded to play Singstar. Out of the songs I sung, I didn’t manage to defeat even one of my opponents. It was quite depressing actually. The songs included: The Reason, What About Me, Scar, Hey There Delilah and You Give me Something. Wait, I’m going back into 2007-type boring listing entry writing mode. Oops.

On Saturday I desperately attempted to finish this entry, but ended up conversing with people and reading other blogs instead. Said blogs were those of other people from my grade. They’re surprisingly informative, if for the most part badly written, and certainly more worth reading than I initially expected. I must say I was impressed withthis one, which is very well-written for a teenaged type thing. Wow, am I so arrogant as to think I’m above other people of my age? Do I really believe that I’m more mature than the majority of them, or am I just another teenager who has a way with words and a particularly huge ego? Am I simply expressing misguided ideas in an articulate manner? IN all likelihood, yes.

Oh, enough with the analytical circles of useless thought patterns that go round and round and round and nowhere already!

Chris and Fran came over on Saturday night. We played Singstar, watched disjointed fragments of about 4 different movies and knitted, while the parents went out for dinner. We didn’t end up sleeping ‘til about 2:30, which rather screwed up my body clock, seeing as daylight saving started on Saturday/Sunday.

I introduced the two of them toLive and Loadedyesterday morning, and lunch was followed by another trip to the movies. We sawWall.E,which is just about the most visual movie I’ve ever watched. This is because the main character is a robot, so there isn’t much talking at all until we see some humans. The cute factor certainly made up for it though, and I had Chris describing everything to me, which I was very thankful for.

We had rather a lot of people over last night, and I enjoyed an awesome dinner of seafood, salad, chicken, steak and bread, and an equally splendid dessert of éclairs, doughnuts, cake and some chocolate and banana pastry things. The adult males (and my sister Nat) played a game of Poker afterwards, while the adult females gossiped and my friends and I talked to Nelson over the phone. I then became engaged in the political discussion that was taking place between the adult females, before they started talking about celebrities and fashion and I became disinterested. I’m an odd child, I know.

The Poker game continued until a little past midnight, and I took advantage of Mum being distracted and skyped Jonathan. Then I slept in ‘til around 9:40 this morning, felt dumb for doing so, got up and spent this morning/part of this afternoon writing this entry.

Now, you might be wondering (or you mightn’t, but oh well), why I haven’t talked about evening events much. This is because most of my evenings have consisted of many Skype conversations/conferences, withJonathan, Eshleigh, Hayden Sam and Nelson, (damn you Nelson, you ruined my list of links by not having one!) A multitude of topics were discussed, and the depravity of *coughcoughcoughcough* certain males, was rather blatantly unveiled... or rather confirmed, in my mind at least. The conferences were enjoyable nonetheless. Skype is one of my bestest bestest friends! ...Until my mother materializes to drag me away from it and usher me upstairs, achieving D sharp heights in her boundless fervor.

I have recently changed the keyboard echo of my jaws from characters to none, and have been adjusting to that over the past few days. It has drastically increased my typing speed, as I was told it would. To my dismay, however, it has also increased the number of typos I make when talking to people via msn. This has presented me with an interesting dilemma. Many of those I talk to are the kind of people I’d feel more comfortable typing slowly but more accurately to. And are the people who type rows of question marks if you don’t reply within a minute or so even worth talking to anyway? Wow... I really am arrogant for thinking that, aren’t I. Maybe I will keep it this way, just so I do have more errors when I type. Aaaarhrhrhrgh, I’m such a conceited bitch!

I shall return in several days, with tales of the camp I’m going to from tomorrow ‘til Friday. I’m seeingHaileyand Nelson there, which will be neat. I hope to be able to bring my mobile phone for any desperate people who might want to talk to me, there shouldn’t be many of you.

And now I am oh so siiiiiick of writing this, and will therefore stop!

So... I haven't been around for ever and ever, I know. This is due to a few factors: work, a very addictive, pointless and wonderfully warped RPG, and my own laziness and inability to be motivated. But I decided that if this was ever going to get back up in the air, so to speak, it would have to do so soon.

I believe I left you all (if there are any of you left) with something about debating, yearly exams, and possibly a mention of school camp... the former two went ok, and the latter was excellent.

I spent most of January in America. The holiday was, on the whole, fantastic. We did spend a rather pointless 4 hours lining up to see the Statue of Liberty, and I managed to get violently sick for a couple of days and lost rather a lot of wait, but New Year's Eve in New York was awesome, as was Disney World. Possibly one of my most enjoyable overseas trips, as it wasn't made up of tours and sightseeing and things. I'm not going to write a full account, as I'd end up with a longer entry than the one in which I described BMC 06.

From the end of January 'til about... June, I was absolutely obsessed, and I mean obsessed, with this stupid RPG. Hayden, it's all your fault! But as no one wants to hear about that, I'll not prattle on about it as I might've been tempted to a couple of months ago. I just have a few things to say. Some of the people who play characters are quite nice, some are absolute jerks, but most are very annoying. It has gotten me very upset before though, and in some ways was almost as bad as my fanfiction obsession that occured last year. That was, if shorter, far more intense though, and I'm glad to be quite over both of them, even if the RPG still exists somewhat. Damn you Hayden... escapism is good, if it isn't overdone. In my case, it nearly always is.

I really don't know what else I'm supposed to be saying at this point. I feel like a completely different person to the one who wrote the entries last year, after reading them. It's so weird...

Well, at school I have made some new friends, as we have different classes now. My electives are going fine, although I'm not doing music, I'm doing drama instead. Not something I can say I regret, our class is the craziest, coooolest, most uncoordinated, random, loud, awesome class in the history of... anything! It's full of the kind of people who are cool in the unconventional, casual sense, and who make lots of noise. I'm just about the only one who doesn't do either of these things, but that's ok.

Ooh yes, year 9 camp. It was the practice walk for the Duke of Edinborough (hope I spelt that right) people... if you don't know what Duke of Ed is, well, I'm not going to explain it to you... go google it and don't be lazy! Anyway, I opted out of it because I'm... uh, um, lazy? Damn! Do as I say, not as I do. I'm such a loser. I digress again. Year 9 camp was, for the most part, awesome. There were only 9 people in our group, the activities were all fun and sleeping in proper tents on the ground was, was, interesting? I stuck my hands in cow dung once, and screamed very loudly when I became aware of this, as well as managing to let go of a rope a couple of metres off the ground and strike my head rather hard on a wooden platform thingy... but overall it was really awesome. Wow, that sentence was terrible and long. Stupid sentence. Stupid grammar. And my birthday was spent there at camp! What a place to have a birthday.

Then it was half-yearlies in June. I didn't do too badly I guess, except in maths (no surprises there). Unfortunately my deputy principal was the one who read my report to me, so she got to see all the subjects that I got under average in damn it.

BMC this year was... well, very interesting. I don't know what I expected from it, but I certainly got a lot more. There were some extreme lows, like... worse than 06 lows, but also some very enjoyable moments that eclipsed even last year's BMC. I performed in a group item with Jonathan, Scott, Loui, Louise and Nelson. I'm sure that's been covered in several entries, but it turned out a lot better than we expected it to. I also had Ian as a teacher again (iiik), it was almost as scary as last year! Only this year I wasn't alone... which was good. I had musiclover95 and sjtaylor for company.

I was an alto this year, which I was rather annoyed about but what can ya do? The sopranos were awesome as usual, so I wasn't going to be able to do much of anything there. I did like most of the pieces this year. Catch a Falling Star was really hot, the Goslings was amusing, my Sweetheart's Like Venus was very easy to pick up and even Had We But Eyes to See wasn't as bad as it could've been.

I hung out with more people this year, instead of constantly badgering the same poor souls for the whole week. I kind of drifted between groups, but definitely spent a lot more time with Bryant people, which was good I suppose, all things considered. Thursday and Friday were probably the two most... interesting days of the camp. Both started out rather badly, but managed to improve as the day wore on.

Highlights of BMC included:
Pushing Jonathan around; it was good fun, even though I almost killed myself carrying his wheelchair up the stairs outside the singing room. I didn't crash him into anything though, go me!
Bitching uh, did I say bitching? Sorry, slip of the fingers... I meant, talking, to my roommates Eshleigh and Cassie every night, and having orgasms (not literally) over Eshleigh's guidedog, Edge.
And the all nighter occuring on Friday night/Saturday morning, of course. This was... better than last year's, because there were more people present. I also didn't spend half the night struggling not to fall asleep on everyone's shoulders, although I did doze for 1 or 2 minutes at around 5:00-5:30.

Saturday was... sad, as usual, with the inevitable farewells and probably some tears and thingies that always happen at the end of BMC. It was a little different for me this year, as I felt there was a certain amount of... anticipation of what might happen as a result of the many things that occured during camp.

It's probably a very good thing that I really enjoyed BMC, as well as the holidays that followed... although I can't remember much of what happened during those two weeks.

I was quite certain that, after the frenzied profusion of half yearlies, national testing, school camp and assignments that was crammed into 4 weeks worth of term two, I would simply be able to cruise through term three. This, I felt sure, would grant me a long-awaited time of relative calm, which a fun but busy BMC is never able to provide. Oh silly, presumptuous me. Needless to say, I was woefully mistaken.

First came an english essay, next my piano graduation, (I am so sick of the Italian concerto it's not funny!) A major work for English was followed by my musicianship exam, which I was rather ill-prepared for, to say the very least. A geography, 2 history, a geography elective and a commerce assignment were quick to succeed these tortures, all seeming to hurtle past me with frightening rapidity. Two maths exams and a science test found me next, dragging me kicking and screaming back to the books and the computer. Do I have permission to complain very loudly about the 4 or 5 nights I've spent staying up 'til 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning doing work during the past month? Do I? Do I? Well, screw you too! I know I have bad time management skills, or no time management skills, or whatever, but really I couldn't care less. And don't look at me like that! OK... I'll stop now before this degenerates any further.

What makes this all so much worse is that seeing as I'm younger than most of you guys out there, my workload probably pales in comparison with everyone else's. Maybe I should get used to sleeping less, or something. A very big thank you to jdx_random for keeping me somewhat sane!

Holidays... paradise... 2 weeks of blissful, splendid, wonderful nothing... Oops, my mother wants me to start work at 11:00. Or not?

OK, I've run out of things to say. I think. Omg I feel accomplished! Someone read this, please!

    <lj:music>My sister singing</lj:music>

Well, it's been a while, and my life has been quite eventful since October 3rd, which I consider to be my last half decent entry. Most of the rest of the holidays were fun. I had linlet sleep over at my place, and my friend Emily. I also had a rather random, scary and totally unexpected conversation with my sister, Hailey was also there, at 1:00 in the morning, sitting on the floor of a bathroom. Lol. Didn't get much history done, as I'm sure my last couple of entries showed. And we went over to Zoe's place to do some history, but ended up messing around quite a bit and playing singstar, which I'm incredibly bad at, but oh well. Overall quite a relaxing and fun holiday.

School brought with it the usual homework, assignments and other things teachers do to make your life hard. My main worries in week 1/2 were the two history assignments I had, but thankfully I got them done and handed in on time. We had a history and science test as well, and woodwork and sewing homework. The woodwork homework was a procedure of how to make the deckchair, which is our current project. The stupid thing was that we were told about 2 weeks before it was due, about a term after we started it, so no one could remember what we'd done. Most people in our tech class (which is different to our normal class) copied off one another, in some cases not even changing the words. This resulted in loads of people being taken out of class a few days later, given a lecture on plagiarism, and having to redo the procedure. I don't quite agree with the plagiarism accusation though, as Harleen, the girl who everyone copied off, gave out her procedure willingly. But ya know.

We've had a few changes in our timetable lately, which is causing me a bit of strife. Because of the exams of older grades, which have to be held in B block, which is where we usually have maths, we've changed rooms. Unfortunately, the room changes occur every day we have maths, and although it's the same every week, I and most other people can't remember which room we're in. Our rolecall teacher doesn't read them out anymore either, and as I can't read the notices pinned up around the school, and don't have any friends in my maths class, I can never find my room. I mean, I don't care that much because it's maths, but it is still rather inconvenient. We also now have two different teachers for commerce, a different teacher for English, which isn't permanent worse luck, we had a sub for VA for two weeks, and we're having a different maths teacher for the rest of the year.

What else...

I spent a very enjoyable Saturday night/Sunday morning skyping Louise, jdx_random and sjtaylor until 6:00 in the morning, with the two males ditching us for sleep at various points during the night. My parents had gone out to stay in the city for a night, and my sisters weren't about to make me go to bed. Louise and I finally decided to go to sleep, as I was rather worried that if I stayed up for much longer, my parents might notice some slightly off behaviour when they came back. I slept till about 9:00, and that also happened to be the night daylight saving started. I was dead for the next few days or so, but it was fun.

Other interesting happenings include:
Going to a scholarship concert thing in which Fran, Chris, Charm and Jess performed, this was on a Sunday afternoon and some of the items were fantastic. I particularly enjoyed a performance of Whitney Houston-I Have Nothing by one of the girls. Eshleigh stars_that_lie managed to critique her singing style to pieces though, lol.

A fantastic night out last Saturday with Fran, Chris and Jess... dinner was awesome, and afterwards we went to a chocolate place, which all of us enjoyed immensely.

Oh and I got me a facebook, for anyone who's interested and I haven't already added, which is probably no one. I still need to find a picture of me that isn't a baby picture and doesn't make me look like a nerd.

And I caught up very briefly with serichsen at this quantum day thing.

Exams are coming up in the following week... that isn't good. I flipped when I first looked through the science syllabus, there's soooo much we have to know. I've gathered all the notes that I think are worth looking through, which isn't much of a help since there are around 63 files and I hate writing notes out again. Maths won't be fun either. History and Commerce I'm fairly ok with. Aah and I have another speech exam this Friday, only 4 weeks after the one I did not long ago and got 94 for. Argh. Stress stress stress. And I shouldn't even be complaining, I've got it easy compared to people like Eshleigh and Pearl.

Ooh, we aced our last couple of debates, meaning we've won ourselves the title of regional champions again, and we're off to Sydney Uni the week after our exams. I'm hoping Rutherford will be less annoying than Taylor, and the food will be better this time. After our last debate a couple of Friday's ago, we came back at around the end of lunch, and wanted to eat something, which was only fair, we decided. We sat outside the office at some tables eating lunch and chatting, but didn't feel much like going back to class afterward. So instead we just stayed there, and met up with some kids who'd just come back from a drama excursion, and also happened to be my friends. We were supposed to have been doing several tests, but no one cared much until we were discovered by Mr. Rutherford and my itinerent teacher. Olly, Deva and I (Ilzy was good and went back to class) had to apologise to Ms Mail, the acting principal, but it was quite easy to tell that she really didn't mind all that much. The person who was most pissed off was Mr. Rutherford, who insisted that we should've gone back to class, otherwise no one would think him responsible enough to handle us. Aah well, 'twas very fun.

Braille competition night on Thursday, that should be quite exciting, although Hailey and Loui won't be there, which really sucks. Am looking forward to seeing the others though. I really should be studying, shouldn't I.

Wow, I've just noticed that my English has really degenerated throughout this entry. Oh well.

I can do this... I can definitely do this before Friday... And must practise for my speech and drama exam too, which is on Friday as well, and get the stuff from the other history assignment done, and start those English sheets, and the movie reviews... and start to prepare for the French speaking task, and do the woodwork work which is due in 2 weeks...

I'd much rather go and listen to Harry Potter, but, y'know. Hmmm, I really need to talk to someone, about something, but I can't, and aaah. *Puts head in hands and cries.
Well... we won the debate last Thursday. It was rather stupid, one of the choices of debating topics we were given was exactly the same topic as we did a few weeks ago, so we called the coordinator and he gave us a new one. We ended up doing 'that we learn from our mistakes', we were negative. For once I spoke for a decent length of time... lol.

Nat, Rae and I went to see Rush Hour 3 that night. I wasn't sure I would like it, but didn't regret going at all.

Friday was fun, we spent half the day at the year 12 farewell assembly. The speeches were amusing, most of the items were good and it was definitely more interesting than history, commerce and double english would've been. Highlights include:
Mrs Douler, the year 12 year advisor, she's a kiwi... ending her speech with something along the lines of, "And I'll never forget their shocked faces when I said I was organising group sux at camp."
Mitch, our school captain, saying something like, "Now, year 10s and 11s, you'll be doing peer support next year. If one of the year 7s in your group comes up to you and asks you what a tampon is, look them straight in the eye and tell them. Do *not! tell them to 'go home and google it'. You never know, they might only google image search it!"
And I also particularly liked one of the items, a group of girls singing the song I Will Remember You by Ryan Cabrera.

We messed around in music, did puzzles in maths, then watched videos in science and history... I slept during those.

The holidays so far have been good, although I know I have to get on with my two history assignments and speech and drama exam work. We've been out to dinner several times, I've enjoyed skyping randoms and I had Chris and Fran sleep over on Sunday night. The parents went out to dinner, so we thought it the perfect opportunity to watch Borat, which incidentally is extremely funny. For those who haven't seen it, it's a movie about a guy who comes from Kazakhstan to film a documentary about American culture, or so he says... it is rather rude, but hilarious all the same.

We spent most of Monday lazing around and watching episodes of Family Guy, which is also awesome, and then went out to dinner.

I was supposed to be doing work yesterday, but didn't really get anything done... I gave up after I fell asleep whilst reading about woodwind instruments. Instead I talked to people on skype and msn, and after I was made to go upstairs, watched a bit of a rather amusing show with my parents and sister.

We just came back from lunch not long ago... and Chris and Fran are coming over soon I think, so I should probably stop rambling in this.

Well, there goes LJ entry number 100,and probably one of my most messed up ones. Meh.

Last week of school for the term, and I'm definitely glad of it. School is just annoying at the moment. Lol.
We had this lifesaving swimming thing on Monday and Tuesday of last week, which was tiring, but better than normal school. Our group completed level 7 and this bronze star thing. I got a bit sunburnt, and I had a *pink* towel, with bloody hearts on it! *Faints from embarrassment aaaaarg! Stupid mother, when I berated her for it, she said it was "pretty"! I felt like such a loser...

Yesterday we had a rather amusing assembly, in which for some reason the whole school was involved in a huge game of Simon Says. It was fun, and I was third last to get out in my grade haha. For a supposedly smart school, it took a surprisingly short amount of time for the game to end. Then the assembly finished early, and we had Hagan for visual arts...

Hmmm, think the last important thing for this term for our class was the french test we did today...I still think I screwed up the written, because I rushed it, and... well, the teachers screwed up the listening one. Meh, it's french.

Omgomgomg, 3 more days of school! Yay! Well, technically 2, because sport takes up 3 periods tomorrow and I have a debate on Thursday.

I can so tell I'm gonna regret saying this within a few days, it all sounds so self-centred... but right now, I don't really care.

OK, maybe I am a lazy bastard and don't like to do work, but it's not as if I do absolutely nothing! My science teacher obviously disagrees about that... and who says I actually care about her fricken subject anyway?
I did actually put some effort into our science project, really I did! It's not as if I can measure 50 ml of water, or know how to use a stopwatch, or read an electronic balance... and I didn't just sit around twiddling my thumbs. I did attempt to help, not that my friends appreciate it much, seeing as I do everything slower than them. And of course, that just makes me feel doubly worthless! Can I do nothing right? Effort? What about the effort she hasn't put in? OK, maybe me being blind is a real pain, but it's not as if I can help that. And I'm having her next year, again? That's one class I'm certainly not looking forward to. Honestly, why do I even care what she thinks? She's only a science teacher...

A late night

A good dinner out on Saturday night was followed by two days of absolute torture. We went out with a couple of families, namely the ones we went to Singapore with... wow that seems ages ago. We managed to convince our parents to have coffee and dessert afterwards, then the others came to our place for a little while and us kids watched rather freaky things on YouTube.

Sunday... was spent finishing the last paragraph of my English essay, and doing my science assignment. The conclusion was really bad, only about 7 lines or so, and I know the others did a lot more than I did. Screw it, it's science.

Music was rather amusing yesterday, we watched some random Chinese opera thing which no one liked. Also, Mr. Wong was trying to tell us about this woman in the opera, and he ended up saying something about her being "seducive". We were all like, "It's seductive, sir." whilst cracking up. Maggie reckons we could call him just about anything we want and he wouldn't notice anything.

Because of my... ahem... severe lack of organisational skills, I.E I am a complete and utter slacker, I hadn't started my French assignment by Friday. Of course, because I had to do my English and science things over the weekend, we only got given the due dates last week, mind! I didn't have time to do it then. So yesterday, I stayed up till 1:00 to do it. Lol. I also happened to be dealing with a couple of issues, not least of which was one of my friends, who'd had a huge fight with her parents and was considering coming over for a bit. Anyway, it got to the point where I had written 300 and something words, it was 10:30 at night, and I had annoying randoms messaging me constantly for no other reason than that they were bored. I finally made them all go away, and went to bed at 12:54 AM, satisfied with 4 pages of French assignment plus a bibliography.

About the most interesting thing that happened today was me forgetting my PE uniform, consequently having to sit in the library for 80 minutes with nothing better to do than read disjointed bits of Harry Potter fanfic. Sigh.

    <lj:music>Something weird called DVDSRSU05 MP3 WEEK 15 - 17.04.</lj:music>

Well, on close inspection of my friends page, I've realise that a lot of the entries were well, emo. Personally I find it all a bit depressing, lol. Have fun with your issues, everyone, and I'm gonna try to ignore mine for the moment.

The other week was alright, I guess. We won both our debates, which was good, although we didn't actually debate very well. We were against Crestwood again on Monday, and then Kellyville on Thursday. The two topics were that the internet does more harm than good, which we did last year, and that we should welcome refugees. We were negative for both of them. It was quite amusing actually, because for the refugees one, in which we had to debate that we should reject them, our team was extremely multicultural... all of different backgrounds. Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Australian/English. We got away with it by saying that immigrants are all the nice, skilled people who come to Australia legally, whilst refugees are all the cue-jumping, violent boat people who come via illegal means.

I ended up cramming on Monday and Tuesday for my musicianship exam, mainly because I got rather paranoid about it all. The weird thing was, I was more nervous before the aural than I was before the written, which I shouldn't have been, because it was a lot easier. I definitely forgot a couple of things, but I'm still overjoyed about Cecil Armstrong Gibbs being British, even if I spelt Gibbs with only one B! Lol.

Seeing as I missed about 3 quarters of school on both Tuesday and Wednesday, and half of Monday and Thursday, I fell even further behind with my schoolwork. I now have french and science assignments, an english essay and a history portfolio to finish, or at least work on, and I'm falling really, really behind in French and sewing. Neither of which I care about or anything, but y'know.

Nothing particularly eventful happened at school last week. I caught up on some work, tried not to fall asleep during this video we watched in commerce about a credit game of some sort, and managed to get rather pissed off with a couple of guys in my class, who literally flinched as I walked past them.

I'm very greatful for the public holiday yesterday, as I'm sure all Sydneyans are. I didn't get anything constructive done though, which is why I'm doing my science, English and French now. I had a rather amusing skype conference with Scott, Pearl, Andrew and Eshleigh last night though, in which we talked about random crap, I became scarily obsessive and started spouting incriminating things, and laughed myself silly when I overheard a very amusing spam message which was sent to Scott.

Anyway, better go and finish off this essay.

Retarded, but oh well.

Last night Emily came over to keep me company, as the parents and sisters were out. Apart from eating, talking about bastards, er... I mean guys, listening to a bit of music and going on the computer, we didn't really do all that much. That seems to be Em's favourite topic of conversation, guys...

And today was spent procrastinating, doing work, reading crap, procrastinating, eating, and procrastinating. <lj:music>TV in the next room</lj:music>

Well... last Sunday night's dinner was quite enjoyable, accept for the fact that Mitchel seemed to want to freak me out as much as he possibly could, and he's quite good at doing that. Oh and I think I managed to get sick some time during that night, because the next morning I woke up, quite unable to go to school. As well as having a temperature, headache and... yeah, I also had an extremely sore throat, which hasn't entirely gone away yet. Tuesday was also spent at home, sleeping, listening to music, sleeping more, sleeping more, sleeping more, and... yeah.

On Wednesday, I was actually well enough to go to school. It turned out that the others hadn't done the science test on Monday, so we did it that morning... it was ok, accept I forgot which chemicals make up oxygen, and a couple of other things. Iceskating was very, very crowded, because there were a lot more people. We ended up getting off the ice altogether, standing around, drinking and eating and things. my friends and my teacher, yes, my teacher! didn't have anything better to do, so they checked out guys from other schools!

Thursday morning was spent doing the maths test, which was alright, although there were quite a few hard questions near the end, and I was a little short for time. Bleh, maths... who cares? Lol. English was bearable, I guess, we had to write a review on either Chinese Cinderella or James and the Giant Peach, although we all talked instead, whilst Taylor struggled to control the class. And I did a bit of quilting in sewing.

Probably the most annoying thing I had to do yesterday was perform My Immortal. As I still have a rather screwed throat, I didn't think I'd be able to actually sing without sounding like a strangled... something, but surprisingly, Maggie said she could hear me over both the others. I dunno whether that's a good thing though... and all the guys were whispering, "You're gonna stuff up! You're gonna stuff up! You're gonna stuff up!" at us, it was so bloody irritating! Idiotic, annoying, immature little... hmmm, don't think I should finish that sentence. Lol.

Oh, and Taylor made me read my review thing aloud in front of the class, it was so embarrassing! Oh well, I'm used to her picking me to do absolutely bloody everything, and at least I got a merit for it, although everyone who read their's out did, so that's not saying much...

We worked on our assignments in science, basically bludged history, and there was a debating meeting at lunch. We have two next week, one on Monday and one on Thursday. Together with my musicianship exam, it's gonna be pretty hectic. I'll be missing loads of school though, which is awesome.

Iiik why does everyone around here seem to have so many issues?

Well, before I go on to explain the events of this year's BMC, which incidentally was awesome, I really need to go through a few school things.

We lost the final of the Metwest debating challenge, in a spectacularly boring and rather screwed up debate. Mr. Rutherford was no better than Taylor, in the respect that he too went on about politics etc and how we should have won. I wasn't particularly fussed, to tell the truth. At least now I have both kinds of trophies! Yeah, I know that's not cool, lol.

Reports... we got them back in the last week of term.
English: 97
Music: 95
Geography: 95
VA: 94 (weird eh!)
Science: 81 or something
Maths: 70 something, abysmal as usual
History: 87 I think?
And the rest I don't remember. At recognition assembly, I got two awards, one for geo and one for English. Maggie got like 5, receiving exactly 1 twelfth of the total number of awards for the grade. No one can now call me a nerd!

The last day of school was a bit screwed up. Not only was it bloody freezing, as usual, but most of the teachers didn't let us bludge, (we actually got something constructive done in maths, which sucked!). Zoe also got really pissed off with Maggie and I for no apparent reason, then the two of them had this huge fight about whether or not capslock had been turned on, or something equally stupid. All in all, I was pretty glad to be outa there.

BMC was, in a word, awesome. It was quite different from past camps, mainly because I hung out with some different people, or rather, cool Macarthians. Namely galileo_griffin, sjtaylor, galileo_griffin, serichsen, galileo_griffin, brattier_brat, [Bad username: galileo_griffin /> and <lj user=]. Loui, I'm surprised you actually managed to put up with me for an entire week! Not many kids would be able to manage that, let alone adults... I'm too annoying. Lol.

The trip was rather uneventful, which was quite surprising, considering my sister was driving, cough cough. We arrived at 4 or 5 or somewhere around that time, and after setting up my stuff in a room Hailey and I shared, my parents left, and Hailey, pj_blindclown and I had a rather interesting D&M sort of thing with Lizzie. At several points during the conversation, we had to try to convince her not to go and strangle a couple of people, but Pearl did a pretty good job of calming her down, and it was an interesting start to BMC.

Sunday was, for the most part, great. I had Ian for braille music lessons, which was a frightening yet enlightening experience. I spent the morning freaking out about it, and then discovered that although demanding, he wasn't quite as terrifying as I'd first thought he might be.

We didn't have Ben's choir after lunch, because Ben wasn't sure if there would be enough people to make it work, so Hailey and I spent an enjoyable afternoon in the music centre with galileo_griffin, sjtaylor, serichsen and a couple of others, playing and singing random pieces and mucking around a lot.

I sang with the sopranoes in choir this year. This was partly because Hailey, Pearl and loads of the others are in sopranoes, partly because I can actually hit the notes, and partly because I wanted to try it for some random reason. Anyway, the songs we did this year were mostly great. My favourites were probably Song of Australia and the Rhythm Of Life, followed by the Lord Is My Shepherd and In Stiller Nacht. Rejoyce In The Lamb was an 11 page horror that was written by a nutter and took up most of our time. I liked certain parts of it, including the 4 solos, but as a whole it was quite a nightmare.

The concert that night was... well, interesting, I guess. Several people played/sung, including Loui, Sina, Christine and Emily, one of Pearl's best friends, who was a new camper this year. Being the first night, Hailey and I of course didn't sleep early. We did, however, manage to whisper instead of talk, which lessened the chance of losing our voices. I was really, really determined to keep mine this year, since I've never actually sung properly in a concert before, unless you count last year in Chamber choir, but that was more screaming than singing.

Monday was quite an eventful day. After another nerve-racking lesson with Ian, and lunch, we had our first session of Chamber Choir. The peace we did is called Blake's Cradle Song. It's quite beautiful, and I decided to be in sopranoes this year instead of altoes, like in the big choir. This was perhaps lucky, because we ended up with about 6 or 7 altoes and 4 sopranoes, and Sina, who was a soprano, didn't even wanna be there, she only came to make Ben happy.

Monday was also the day Hailey and I decided to perform My Immortal as a duet. A couple of friends and I decided to do it for music at school, so I've learnt the piano accompaniment. It took me a while, but I've also managed to get my head around singing the harmonies and playing at the same time. Anyway... we had a couple of rehearsals in the music centre, with psycho_rabbit and Hailey's I T, who came just for the Monday, listening. I had to turn my head so I wouldn't be singing into the piano, which was a bit distracting, but anyway. All through dinner, I was really, really freaking out, I dunno why. Perhaps because I've never sung in front of so many people before, not unless it was in a choir anyway. Hayden ended up giving me a massage to try and ease the tention. Then, halfway through, he started tickling me. I ended up falling backward, and bashed the side of my head rather painfully, and loudly, on the metal trolley from which we usually get breakfast. I remember it making this huge crash that was probably heard throughout the dining room, and vaguely thinking, "I didn't realise my head could make such a loud noise!" Not unless I have my mouth open, anyway.

Roma made me sit down for a couple of minutes, which was probably just as well, because I wasn't really in a condition to do anything else without doing damage to someone or something. After that, my head spun for about 5 minutes, and ached for about 5 days, but I still managed to laugh it off. And it was, after all, the distraction I needed for my nerves. Miraculously, I actually managed to play/sing My Immortal without stuffing up too badly! True, I kinda screwed up one cord in the chorus, twice, and I didn't sing "me" for long enough just before the bridge, and neither Hailey or I sang loud enough, but it wasn't a complete disaster, I guess.

From what I remember, and I might be wrong but anyway, we started rehearsing in Club Hall on Tuesday. I think we spent most or all of that rehearsal practising Rejoyce, unsurprisingly. Apart from that, Tuesday and Wednesday were rather uneventful days, for me anyway; more time spent messing around in the commonroom and the music centre, annoying others, sitting in people's laps etc, all the things you do if you're me.

Thursday... Thursday... hmmm. On Thursday, I got let out by Ian about halfway through the one and a half hours of supposed lesson time, because we'd finished everything we were supposed to, I think, and he wasn't evil enough to think up anything else. Anyway, I went down to the music centre, and, after listening at a closed door for some time, went in to annoy Loui and pj_blindclown. They happened to be doing harmonies, which I don't actually mind all that much, lol. I ended up hanging around and playing random chords on the piano, cuz I felt like it, and didn't have anything better to do. Oh, apart from eavesdrop on certain people, who happened to be talking about me, right outside the door. Hehehehe. Fun fun.

When Loui, Pearl and I were going down to have lunch, we discovered jdx_random playing the piano in one of the other practice rooms. He had (so thoughtfully! not) been abandoned there, so, working together, we managed to all find our way down the hill to the Dining room, at which point Roma found and rescued us. It was quite an experience, actually.

Thursday was the day, or rather night, that I played a piano piece in the concert, the minuet opus something or other which I can't be bothered to remember, by someone whose name I can't be bothered to try and spell. Anyway it went alright I guess, accept everyone started clapping before I'd finished, resulting in me cracking up kinda badly. Loui, Sam and Declan also performed a piece called Wild Mountain Side, which was really beautiful, in my opinion. I'd spent quite a while watching them rehearse in the music centre throughout the week, and couldn't wait for them to perform it. Overall it was pretty good, accept for the fact that Declan's flute was very noticeably flat, clashing rather horribly with both the piano and Loui singing. Lol.

Friday was a really awesome day. After a rather long rehearsal, half of which I spent whispering to people around me, giggling and having my hair pulled (cough cough, cough, cough, cough cough cough!), we had morning tea and then loads of free time.

After lunch, we had one last chamber choir rehearsal in Club Hall, finalising places etc. We were going to have a rehearsal of the piece without parts to see how we went, but we didn't end up doing it, which was a bit of a shame really. I stayed afterwards to practice my piano piece for the concert that night. I remember Roma and a couple of others shushing the rest of the chamber choir as they left so I could practice, which I thought was kinda pointless, as I find it easier and less nerve-racking if there's a bit of noise around me anyway. I think I said to the room at large while I was playing, "You don't have to be quiet, you know.". Lol.

We had the Friday afternoon concert practically straight after my rehearsal, and then more free time. Then afternoon tea, which not many people went to anyway, and more free time... snore. I don't even remember what I did with most of it. I spent some time with Hailey, Hayden and I think Chris and Jonathan, sitting and lying around on the grass between Bryant and Macarthy, doing nothing much... occasionally waking Jonathan, who seemed to find the grass and concrete very comfortable, and kept falling asleep.

The concert that night was probably the best I've been to so far. I say "been to", not "been in", because I haven't actually sung in any of the others. Lol. I mean, I played in 05, but I screwed that up anyway, so meh. For one, my performance went quite well, notewise anyway. I made two mistakes. Hehehe. For another, chamber choir was good too, accept for a couple of the altos... no offence to them... cough cough... not mentioning any names... naah actually, it was only really one alto. But moving on. We had loads of fun (well I did), with the Rhythm of Life, and all the other pieces were cool too.

After the concert, I didn't actually go to supper, but hung around in Club Hall, before going back to Bryant. I dragged Loui up to my room, where she and I pigged out on loads of lollies, joined at different times by Ria and Emily. We talked about everything from books to sex, yes, I'm serious! Although I won't go into too much detail about that. Loui left at about midnight, and I was later joined by Hailey.

After we all pretended to go to sleep, Pearl joined Hailey and I in our room, bringing coke and more lollies. We spent a few hours just eating and talking about random crap, and I managed to spill coke all over both the carpet and myself. I'm actually surprised none of the teachers heard us, the way we were giggling and carrying on.

At maybe 1 or 2 something, we discovered that Louise was still awake, but she was the only one out of all the Bryant girls. She had a walky-talky with her, and was in contact with the guys. We arranged to meet down in the commonroom, just for something to do, and by 3 something, we had all found our way down there, with no mishaps. The guys who came down were Nelson, Chass, Jack and Sam B. Most of the others, unlike me, had actually bothered to put some warmer clothes on, so there I was, freezing in some rather thin pyjamas. We talked and mucked around for a while, and I think I dozed for maybe 5 minutes or so. I ended up sitting in a couple of laps, and we all stayed there until the teachers got up in the morning. It was an awesome end to the camp.

I spent a good while outside on the grass between Bryant and Macarthy the next morning, talking to randoms and hanging around in the precious little sunlight that there was. I left at around a quarter to 10, and could hardly keep my eyes open. I slept for a good hour or so in the car. It was my best BMC to date.

Now let's see:
I hugged... 26 people, I think.
I sat in 6, maybe 7 people's laps, yes, I'm very random I know.
And I was rejected by not nearly as many people this year, yayayyy. I wonder if that's because I'm less annoying? Probably not, but hey. Doesn't hurt to dream. Lol.

And I avoided putting anything to do with people's romance lives in here, coz I don't want to incriminate anyone.

The snow. Not as fun as BMC, but definitely still great. Mitchel came over on Saturday afternoon, and slept over again, and we departed on Sunday morning. We stopped off at Canberra for lunch, as usual, and arrived at the snow in the late afternoon. We stayed in a small... apartment... sort of thing, which, whilst cleaner than last year's house, was smaller. We also had to climb several sets of steep steps to get there, which really wasn't fun, especially when we were returning from skiing, exhausted and freezing. But anyway.

This year I went up to Meriths again, after maybe 2 runs down Friday Flats. It was scary, but I managed quite a few runs without 'stacking it'. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get a lesson until Saturday, which was annoying because that was our last day of skiing anyway. Better than nothing though, I guess. I still had loads of fun though, even though I got myself a few bruises.

Loads of people hurt themselves this time, actually. Aunty Annie tore a ligament, Mitchel fell off a 2 metre high rock and in doing so twisted his ankle, Adelaide (Rae's friend) got loads of bruises everywhere, and I bashed my leg on a tree, smashed it in exactly the same place with my opposite ski, and twisted my other leg. I still have the bruise that the tree left...

I quite enjoyed most of the time I spent off the slopes, as well. Fran brought along a friend, Jess, who, unlike a lot of sighties (no offence to them), was really awesome! The 5 of us (Mitch, Chris, Fran, Jess and I) spent a lot of time mucking around, usually in their room rather than our's. We were as noisy as we liked when the parents went out to dinner and left us alone, accept when Rae dropped by occasionally and told us to "SHUT! UP!" Lol.

The restaurants we went to were all pretty awesome. One of them was pretty poshified, the waiter was so polite, the food was so expensive, and Fran found a hair in her pasta. Lol! Chris and Jess told her not to complain, as apparently if she did, they'd spit in all our food and throw it on the ground etc. I'm not sure I quite believed that.

Quite a few embarrassing things happened at the snow, actually. Firstly, I talked a lot to serichsen on my mobile phone, (don't ask about the phonebill). Mitchel, being the brat he is, kept yelling "Love ya Scott!" into the phone, (sound familiar?) The others made rather dumb, embarrassing and totally untrue exclamations, such as "Get some clothes on!" and... yeah, ya get the gist.

There was also an extremely embarrassing incident involving a screwed up game of 20 questions, which turned into about 40 questions, loads of spilt food, my phone being snatched from me and 'checked out', and me wrestling it back off Chris and almost falling into a toilet in the process... all this resulted in everyone thinking I like Sam B, which is what Mitchel told them, I'm not exactly sure why. Probably to annoy the hell out of me or something. For some reason, he's rather obsessed with people at BMC, and asks me to tell him about everyone. No, he's not a stalker... despite what many of you may have reason to believe.

Oh, and we also watched a bit of TV while we were there... a repeat of an episode of Chaser's War on Friday night, at which Jess laughed herself silly, a bit of Harry Potter 3 until Mitchel got sick of it and change the channel, and Auston Powers, during which I wouldn't stop saying how cuuuuuuute Mini Me was... seriously, he sounded so adorable! Even if he was ugly...

I think I learnt quite a lot in this year's lesson, especially about technique, as mine was all over the shop, according to me anyway. The instructor I got was talkative, strict and not one of those people who patronise blindies, quite an interesting combination, and not one I encounter often. I didn't actually do any skiing at Meriths during the lesson, as I was mainly focussing on getting the right stance, and going up to the higher slopes would probably have distracted me.

On the last night, we went to the Cascades restaurant, which is where we got loads of softdrinks last year... we did the same this year, accept Jess did it as well, and we also included juices. We just managed to beat our record (per person), having 33 drinks. I had 6, Mitch had 9, Fran had 8, and Chris and Jess had 5 each. We all felt predictably sick afterwards, and Mitchel got really, really moody, to the point where the rest of us retreated to Fran and Charm's bedroom so we wouldn't have to be in his company. He joined us in there once he'd calmed down, and we all ended up lying around on the beds, taking photos of one another, singing random songs and being... weird. Oh... no... that sounded wrong...

Moving on? I got sick during the first week or so of school, skipping a couple of days and basically being in no condition to do anything accept go on the computer for the whole weekend, naah, that's a lie... but anyway. We didn't really get much homework or many assignments, that is, until about week 4 or so. Then all the teachers decided to pile on as much as they possibly could, or so it seemed to us. We now have science, history, French, Commerce, and music assignments, as well as two essays to write for English, a poem for PD (which I've finally finished) and a newspaper report, also for english. We also have two tests tomorrow, a maths common and a science class test, and our music performance on Friday, which was supposed to be done back in week 1, but anyway. Don't ask me how I still have time to actually write this... I'm just lazy and don't want to do the assignments, I guess.

Somebody, please rescue me from my crazy english teacher! A couple of rather whacked things have happened in English lately... a few weeks ago, Taylor chucked a mental at Zoe and Maggie, calling them know-it-alls and telling them they shouldn't be like that, just because Zoe told her that Chinese Cinderella is an autobiography, and not a fairytale! Maggie wasn't even involved, and Taylor sucks in general, so bleh. Also, we were watching James and the Giant Peach the other day, and Taylor sneezed so loudly that we could hear it at the back of the room! She didn't actually bother to cover her mouth or anything... not that any of us cared, but a few minutes later, a guy in the front row sneezed, and she ordered him to go and wash his hands, then sprayed the whole bloody room with pino clean, even up the back! Never mind the fact that she'd probably spread her germs all over us... Crazy, crazy person. Maggie has spent the past few lessons totally ignoring whatever she says, and scratching "Taylor is a retard" into her desk. Lol. She's probably running out of room by now.

We started the Premier's debating challenge a couple of weeks back, owning Crestwood in a debate about Australia's national image. Ha, it was so good to beat them after last term! We were also supposed to verse their B team, aka their year 7 team, last week, accept they changed the time without notifying us, which was kinda dumb. Gur'r'r'r, I find it so annoying that Rutherford keeps swapping the third and fourth speakers around in the team. Olly and I weren't the only ones who won the state challenge last year, it was all the great teamwork we had going! None of us really want to say anything though, so I dunno what's happening.

Hmmm... I've had Maggie, Zoe and Sneha over for a couple of group assignments, the most recent being one for music, in which we did a kind of rip-off of Harry Potter... it was lame, but quite fun. I've also been reading quite a few HP fanfics, although I'm not spending nearly as much time with them, which is good. I have BMC, and certain individuals who went, to thank for that.

Oh yes, and the 7th book and 5th movie! The movie I didn't mind at all, although a couple of things were changed. The book... was sort of a disappointment. If you haven't read it yet, then don't read this next bit, lol. Nothing particularly surprising happened, accept for the hallows themselves, and they were only surprising because I didn't think something so common would be used in Harry Potter... but anyway. I still have my fanfics. Hehehe.

Anyway, going to talk to Jonathan, Hayden and Cassie on skype.

I'm lazy and slack and should've updated this loads earlier I know, but I've been on camp, sick, sick, sick, and studying for half-yearlies.

From the 14th to the 18th of May, I attended the state vision camp, which was held at Berry. Unfortunately, loads of the people I usually hang out with (Jaimee, Amelia, Jasmine, Abigale, Carrie and Pearl) go to Catholic schools, so they weren't allowed to come. That kinda sucked, but I did make loads of new friends.

We traveled by train for most of the way, and it took around 3-4 hours. Most of the others were either a few years younger than me or a few years older, so I didn't really socialise all that much, accept when one of the little kids plagued me with questions, lol. When we got there, we had lunch, which was some sort of chicken rap, if I recall correctly. It wasn't bad, whatever it was.

We were sorted into age groups, and I ended up in green. Most of the people were a few years older than me, as there weren't many who were my age. There was one girl, however, who was a couple of years younger. She was annoying, no offence to her, although I think she might have had ADD or something. She probably should've been in the group below us. Anyway, I ended up hanging out with Kate, Katie, Brook, Jess and Nathea, all at least a year older than me. I know this doesn't usually make much of a difference with blindies, but most of them had quite a bit of sight, accept Nathea, who was the closest to my age in that group anyway, and was also blind.

Our first activity was initiatives. Probably the most boring activity of all, it involved walking around to see all the other activities, plus a couple of group activities. It was the only one we had that day.

The other three people in my cabin didn't arrive until quite late that evening, because they came from Dubbo. Ashleigh, Susie and Topia were all really nice people. Annoyingly enough, because they were in year 7, they were put in the group below mine. Susie was the only other blindy. We all got along really well, most of the time anyway.

Dinner that night was chicken or something with peas and broccoli, I think. I guess it was alright... I must say, the dessert was pretty good though. That night, we played a couple of group games. It was pretty fun, although in one game that involved everyone walking around in a circle, I was led totally out of the place we were in, I think by another blind person who wasn't very aware of what was happening. Lol.

Breakfast the next morning was pretty disgusting. The scrambled eggs were the worst, and I accidentally got them all over my toast, which didn't help. That day we did the ropes course (which ended in the flying fox), rock climbing and the cable glide, which was sort of like the flying fox, accept a lot longer. We were actually supposed to do that on Friday, but the organisers decided we wouldn't have enough time. They were all pretty fun, although to get to the cable glide, we had to climb a hill, carrying some harness equipment that weighed a tonne.

Hmm, lunch that day was one of the most horrible things I've ever eaten in my life. It consisted of saucy noodle type things, which were loads overcooked, judging by their flavour and mushy texture. Most people (including me) ate a couple of mouthfuls, then felt sick and didn't eat anymore. Lol. Apparently, the cook took one look at the bucket of rejected food, and said, "I'm not cooking that again". Lol, I was extremely hungry until dinner. I think Tuesday lunches at camps don't agree with me, or something.

I don't really remember what dinner was, although it had to be better than lunch. Lol. That night we had the county fair, which involved setting up stalls and exchanging paper money (we were each given a sheet) for goods and services. I ended up at fortune telling with Topia, Ashleigh, Susie, Dejsha, Adel, and a couple of others. I wasn't very good at making up random stuff lol, and was so nervous that I might repeat myself to someone that I forgot to tell all the teachers that they would die shortly, as I'd planned. Hehehe.

At the end of the night, every stall (winners and losers alike) picked an envelope out of a box, which supposedly either contained something good or bad. One team got second helpings to dessert every night, another supposedly had to make breakfast for a teacher, and our group got one which said we were to hold the sick bucket on the bus on the way to the park the next day! None of them were ever actually carried out though, as far as I know.

The next day was spent at the animal park. It took quite a while to get there, so I listened to a bit of music, (yes, I brought my Iriver, because I'm extremely antisocial! Lol), and talked to Nathea.

After we walked around 'looking' at some of the animal enclosures, we had recess, bought some souvenirs (and in my case, some coke and chocolate) and then got to actually touch some animals, including a koala and a snake. We were shown them by a guy called Trent, and afterwards, when some photos were being taken of us, he asked who would like to hold one of the animals. After that, loads of other people started asking if they could hold other animals, and one of the girls at the back asked, 'Can I hold Trent?'

We had lunch at a park a little way away, lunch which we had prepared ourselves back at the camp. Lol. It was actually pretty nice. Afterwards we went on a Dolphin cruise. Unfortunately, we couldn't hear any dolphins, although the sighties/partials got to see a couple. We didn't get back to the camp until almost 6:00. Hehehe, on the way back, Nathea dared Adam (one of the guys in the group above us) to say to the bus driver, "You were tiptop, mate!" in a really random accent, and he actually did it! It was quite amusing.

I don't remember what dinner was that night, but I *think* we had jelly and ice-cream afterwards. The night activity was watching a rock band, which came to perform for us. They weren't bad, I guess, although I really wasn't all that interested either.

Thursday was almost definitely my favourite day of the camp. I didn't particularly enjoy canoeing, which we did in the morning, but we had the giant swing after lunch, and that was awesome! It was worth pulling all the others up just to get my two turns! I apparently screamed the loudest, hehehehe.

We had kitchen duty that night. I collected plates and bowls from people, cleaned scraps off them and put them in racks to be properly washed. I guess it wasn't that bad, lol.

It was really annoying, when I'd finished my dinner, I asked one of the teachers where we were supposed to go for kitchen duty, and she was like, "I'll show you in a minute, but can you do something for me?". I asked her what it was, and she said, "Can you get up and say a small thank-you speech to Mr. Garry (the organiser) and the teachers on behalf of the camp for us?". I couldn't very well refuse without sounding rude, so I was like, "Urm, uh, but... um...". I guess she took that to mean yes, and I had barely half a minute to think of something to say! It was really... annoying/embarrassing!

That night, we had the tallent quest/concert type thing. There wasn't a piano or keyboard or anything there, and I couldn't be bothered to organise to do anything, so I watched all the other items. Some people sang, others danced, some told jokes etc. Most of them weren't too good, but Katie got up and sang 'Angel' by Sarah McLachlan, unaccompanied, and she was really, really good. Quite in tune too, hehehe. Topia, Ashleigh and Susie sang 'Forever' by the Veronicas, lol, and Kate and Katie sang Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson with the Kareoke. Lara (this really adorable kid in year 4) also sang a couple of things, she was so cuuuuuute.

That night, Topia and I stayed up talking for ages, a bit about Harry Potter, and mainly about loads of other random stuff. Lol.

Friday morning was also really annoying, because we had to pack, but our group also had kitchen duty again. Luckily, loads of the people had gone really early already, so there weren't too many plates and bowls to clean. After breakfast, we all hung around doing nothing much for a bit, before we were 'rounded up' and taken to the basketball court thing, where we played a couple of games, none of which were very interesting.

We left the camp at around 11 something, and spent the next few hours on the train. My Iriver had run out of batteries (I left it recording the previous night, and fell asleep), so I didn't really do much. We got back to Westmeade station by 3 something.

Hmmm, my head hurts from writing so much.

Urm... things of note that have occurred at school. We've had another couple of debates, all of which we've won, and now we're into the final. I've been quite sick lately, and the others prepared the last debate without me, so I watched. It sucks, all the topics for the final are to do with transport, which I hate even more than topics about sport, school and the environment! We haven't had any good topics about politics or terrorism or current issues or... anything! Hopefully we'll get them in the Premier's challenge.

We're learning the periodic table in science, which is just gur'r'r'r'r'r, because the braille one I have is much more advanced than the one that everyone else has, and it's also very confusing. Hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium, boron, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen... ok, I'll stop now. Lol.

Aaaahh, talk about annoying teachers! One geography lesson, we had a rather young substitute, and we were working from the textbook. I tried to explain to her that my books were in the cupboard, but we'd looked through them and couldn't find the right volume, but then realised she didn't know I was blind. After getting that out of the way, I asked her if she knew where it was. She checked the cupboard again, the teacher's desk, and then decided she couldn't be bothered to find it. She conveniently chose to ignore me after that. Seeing as it was geography, which I don't much like anyway, I chose to let it pass and bludge the period, but if it had been something which mattered, English, for example, I might've said something. Aah well. Lol.

We've been studying poetry in English with Taylor, and for the past two weeks or so, we've been performing dramatic readings and poem analysies, lasting between 3 and 6 minutes. It was really funny, because last week half the class had the flue, and Taylor was warning anyone who had it to stay away from her when they did their speeches. Anyway, after a while, she said, "Look, if one of you gives me a cold while you're doing your speech, I'm going to have to take half a mark off!". Lol! We could tell she was being serious, although I dunno how she'd be able to do that, as she wouldn't know which one of us gave it to her.

I had a bunch of tests a couple of weeks ago, including two history, maths, geography and science. I totally killed maths, did *ok in science, did really badly in history (but so did everyone else) and did quite well in geography, which really surprised me, because that was the one I didn't study for! I got like 8 out of 10 for one history test, and 13 out of 20 *hides* for the other, although my other friends got like 12 and 10 out of 20 for that one, which made me feel a bit better. I got 58 out of 60 for the geography, which is just scary, seeing as Maggie got like 53.5. For science I got like 44 out of 57, which wasn't very good but anyway, and maths I don't like to say. Lol. Oh, and we got our Ella (english basic skills thing) test results back too. I got 140 out of 152, which was ... alright, kinda. I got just a tiny bit below the school average for reading and language, and way above average for writing, bringing me just above average.

My birthday was... well, shall we say, not exactly great. Lol. It was on a Monday, meaning I had both double maths and science, and I also had loads of maths work that night. I was quite sick that day too, which sucked. I had my party on Sunday the 3rd of June, there were about 10 kids there, including me. For most of the time we just mucked around, played foozball, tried to balance huge exercise balls on each others' heads and threw them around, played chess and cards, and watched a bit of Harry Potter. Oh, and Maggie and I kept playing 'My Immortal' on the piano and singing to it to annoy Emily and Mitchel, who don't like Evanescence. We also talked a lot, and Maggie kept fighting with Mitchel and Mason. I ended up getting loads of jewelry, CDs and DVDs, money, and lol, fingerless gloves from Rae!

I saw Pirates 3 on Monday with Maggie, Zoe, Sneha and Alyce (Alice, her name is just spelt like that). It was pretty good, although had a little too much action for me to fully comprehend. I wish I'd seen Pirates 2 first. Hmm... I spent Tuesday and Wednesday sick in bed, which was really annoying.

Hmmm, I've also had a couple of group assignments, a french aural presentation and an ad for English, which involved a bit of Audio work (yay).

Oh, and extremely sexually explicit Harry Potter fanfics are very very very very baaaaad for yooooou! Just thought someone would like to know that.

<lj:music>People typing at me who I wish wouldn't but I don't have the heart to ignore.</lj:music>

Well, I feel like something between the two, at any rate.

The holidays have gone by so... quickly, it's rather scary. Things that have happened in my life:
Last Saturday, my cousin Mason came over for a bit, and we went out to dinner that night, with Fran and Chris (and one of Fran's friends, Jess). I went to the mountains with my parents, grandparents/aunt and Emily on Sunday, for the whole day. I hadn't charged my Iriver's battery, so I didn't have much to entertain me during the long car trip. We saw the Three Sisters, went on a cablecar, a train thing, a bush walk and a sky walk, and then went out to dinner once we'd gotten back to Sydney.

Um, on Tuesday I attempted to do a bit of my geography project, then Fran came over and I gave her lots of music on her Zen, and we lazed around on my sister's double bed, fighting over the blankets and generally acting like little kids.

On Wednesday, I yet again saw Hailey, we went iceskating. It was a slightly smaller group this time, with only us two and two younger guys, whom we didn't really talk to much, mainly because one was extremely shy. I fell twice I think, still managing to get my whole side wet, lol. Oh, and I'm officially a brat! Not that I never was, but a complete stranger made it perfectly clear that she thought so, anyway. Hee hee hee. Lol.

On Thursday I had my schoolfriends over to organise this random Merchant Of Venice play we have to do for English. we Then went out and saw 'Stomp The Yard' with Fran, Chris, Charm and Jess, and went out to Nando's for dinner. On Friday morning I got a haircut. My hair is a little shorter than shoulder-length now, and it's kinda hard to pull it back without missing a few strands, which is annoying. It's a lot easier to wash and brush it though, I must say.

Saturday: More work, lots of listening to Harry Potter, and a good dinner at our cousins' house (different cousins, these ones are a lot older). Only Nat, Rae and I went, and Nat had to leave after a bit. We played poker again, and I came second, once again, to Mason! It's so infuriating! I was winning quite convincingly at one stage, but... there ya go.

Yesterday I did no work whatsoever, listened to lots and lots and lots of HP, and then we went to the same cousins' place for dinner, this time with the adults.

And today, well, after doing a rather poor job of some english work I forgot about, trying to get some more geography done, and eating lunch, I listened to some more Harry Potter, had a speech and drama lesson and had dinner and things.

School tomorrow, which really sucks. I feel like such a slacker, I've barely done any work over the holidays... there's some history, English, cooking, metalwork and maths stuff I was supposed to have done, not to mention the geography assignment. I'll probably ask the teacher for an extention on that, seeing as I got it a week after everyone else, and I'll have to fix up something so I don't have to draw a sketch map of two countries. Great! Hmmm, what else? A debating speech to write, and the others to organise, drama as well, that stupid english play I have to do with my friends, a speech and drama exam coming up in about 2 and a half weeks, a piano recital, dunno when that is, and then vision camp in week 4, closely followed by our half-yearlies. How... perfectly... ghastly! Hehehehehehehehe.

You can tell what a good mood I'm in, eh! Not.

Idiot, idiot, idiot! That's what I am. Don't ask...

Yesterday was very enjoyable, I got to socialise heaps with Hailey and Andrew at the show. There were several other kids too, and I discovered that one of them goes to my school. She's in year 11, and in the support unit. She doesn't use a cane at school though, which is probably why I haven't noticed. Lol. We got to see lots of little animals and things, they were so cuuuuute. There were sheep, goats, cows, and we even got to pat a dog (although that just happened to be there, it wasn't on show or anything). There were lots of horses, ranging in size from a tiny pony that was shorter than me to a huge stallion that was taller than the guy showing it to us. We got to milk cows (and got free chocolate afterwards, lol), and sheer sheep and keep some wool. We only got time for one ride, and that was the giant slide. We got to go on for free though, because Hailey's friend Katharin worked at the show. It was very fun, although kinda short.

The showbag pavilion was packed, and we stayed there for ages. My sister went the other day, so I got her to get my showbags for me. Emily asked me to get her some though. The Starburst Lollypops one was easy enough to find, but we only found the Fairly Odd Parents one at the very last place we looked. Hailey was like, covered in showbags, I think she got 7! Although a couple were for her sisters.

Hailey and I also got to see Andrew's phone on the way back to Westmeed train station, and I showed her and Andrew my Iriver. And, and and and and and, no one! has the right to call me a midget now, because Hailey is officially shorter than me! Just. Anyway, my friend Maggie reckons that all Asians are midgets. It's a racist generalisation in my opinion, but it does give me an excuse for being short! Lol.

Anyways... I arrived home at about 4:00 yesterday afternoon, and of course, all I did for the rest of the night was go on msn/skype.

Oh, I also got told that calling my grandparents "you guys" is disrespectful, because it's not formal enough. I agree, it's not formal, but it's not as if we say it in a disrespectful manner intentionally or anything. And also, I got told the other night by one of them to "go and call everyone for dinner". No please, not even a "can you", just, "go do it". I know that being older than someone is supposed to mean that you have their respect and all, but asking someone to do something rather than telling them is just common courtesy, especially if you're big on the whole respect thing. If it were anyone else, I would have pointed this out, but I shut my mouth and didn't say anything. Lol. Hmmm, now that I've had my rant... I'll shut up now.

I'm, so, tired!

Urm, well, yesterday I went shopping with Emily at Hornsby. I bought 3 CDs, lunch and a boost, and spent... way too much money. Lol. Emily bought 2 CDs, although one was for her brother, and also a necklace which I didn't like, lol. I also ate lots and lots of chocolate.

Today I didn't absolutely nothing constructive, apart from listen to a couple of songs and sort some more music out. I've used half my internet cap already, which isn't cool!

And I'm hopefully seeing Hailey and Andrew tomorrow at the Easter Show, I'm going on one of those mobility days again. My Mum had to arrange it today, because they never sent us the information.

Aww, why is it that just when you desperately desperately need to talk to someone, they're not online!

One more day of school, one more day of torture, one more day till fr'r'r'r'r'reedom! Lol.

I had a couple of schoolfriends over on Saturday afternoon, to finish off the English script we're doing. We spent a lot of the time messing around, throwing little plastic blocks at one another, exchanging insults, stealing chairs and generally being... well, teenagers. We did get the job done though. The last scene is just so corny though, I swear! All the kids randomly decide to hook up and start kissing in the library, it's actually quite sickening. I am very glad to say, I had absolutely no input into that particular scene. *Looks all dignified* lol.

I spent the entire day on Sunday doing my science project, well... not quite the entire day, most of it though. I had to construct an energy efficient house from lego, (yes, the teacher's idea, the others had to do a poster). I then had to label the parts that saved energy, plus have two alternative energy sources. Not a particularly torturous project all up, but it was for science, and that made it twice as boring as it would've been. Hehehe.

On Monday our VA teacher was away, and the teacher we had instead (who just happened to be our French teacher) had no idea what I was supposed to do, so I just... played with clay again, and randomly started making another of those... bowl things. I also played my assessment piece in music, screwed it up as usual, and got told I don't play expressively enough. What's new? Yawns. 1: I know. 2: They really need to get pianos in there. 3: I'm fed up with learning about minor scales!

Yesterday: Walked the cross country route in PE. Attempted to get more of my hammer done in metalwork, although my mind wasn't on the thing at all.

OK, talking in full sentences now!

Today nothing spectacular happened, accept I found out how to find my pulse really easily, and that my "recovery heart rate" is 5.4, which is apparently very good. Lol. Oh, and we walked up to the shops in Sport, and I actually witnessed something quite frightening there. I was standing just inside the doorway of a shop, and a few metres away, outside, a guy tried to steal a chick's phone, he was like full on swearing at her and telling her to give it to him. Then this other guy came over and grabbed him, and they started fighting. Eventually she got her phone back, which was... good. I wasn't exactly sure what happened until afterwards, when my support teacher person thingy told me.

Anyways... I'm tired, and therefore will stop typing this.

Well, not really, but I couldn't think of a better subject line, so meh.

Well, Pearl arrived on Saturday at... I dunno, 6 or 7 something. We had dinner, and then basically hung around in my room talking for a while, then decided to go on skype and msn. We took part in a conference with Jonathan, Hayden, Nelson and Scott, then were told to go to bed, at around 11:30 or 12:00 I think. We didn't sleep though, until like 3:30 in the morning. We talked about just about everything you could think of, lol.

I think we both woke up quite early the next morning, but didn't really get up until about 10 something. We swapped music collections, talked, talked, talked, ate, talked, talked, got ready for Hailey's party, yeah...

It took a while to get there, bit under half an hour I think. It was awesome! The food was great, and so were the presentations and speech thingies. I also recorded the whole lot on my Iriver. And, I actually danced! Now I, am seriously not a dancer. Not only am I inept, but I also feel like a total dork whenever I'm forced into attempting it. I didn't have a proper partner or anything, but I danced in groups with Shell, Pearl, Andrew, Saito, Nelson, Hailey and a couple of her friends, who were really nice. Oh, and her Mum, kinda. Lol. Her dress was so cool!

Anyways, Mum and Dad made me come home at about 10:30... didn't sleep for ages lol.

I got to play with clay again in VA last Monday! Lol. Also treadmilled on Tuesday in PE again, and got not much done in metalwork. Oh, and I got that essay and the questions back, the ones we did for Taylor, I got 20 out of 20 for the questions, but I got 9 and a half out of 10 for the essay! I am sooo annoyed! Lol.

Walking last Wednesday was alright as usual, my friends and I listened to music and were all... antisocial and things. Thursday? We got to try some... apple nut pastry thingies our cooking teacher made as the demo for us. On Friday I had a science test which I totally failed, and on Saturday I went out to Chris and Fran's place for dinner, while the parents went out. We watched a little TV, attempted to burn her some CDs (the computer kept dying though) and sung rather discordantly with a CD I made for her a while back. It was great.

We went out for dinner on Sunday night, because it was Mum's birthday the other week... the 21st.

I finished off the clay bowl thing in VA on Monday, and totally exhausted myself out on the treadmill, again, on Tuesday. On Wednesday, as well as walking, we had to do the beep test. This is an endurance test, where you have to run 20 metres and get to the other side before the beep. After a few rounds or so, it gets faster, and you have to run faster. I got out on 3.4 (the third level, the fourth round). The person in our class who got to the highest level got to level 10 or something I think. That, was tiring.

We actually got to make the apple pastry things on Thursday in Cooking, they were delicious! Maggie and I were the first pair finished (for once, we're usually the last). Oh, and I also did the noncalculator maths test, which was easy apart from 1 question, which I now know how to work out. Lol.

Yesterday we watched a video in history, bludged science (our teacher wasn't there), went down to the library in geography, bludged music, (nothing out of the ordinary there)... read some more of 'The Merchant Of Venice' in English and did a bit of very easy algebra in maths. I still haven't gotten my commontest results back yet, and everyone else got their's back on Monday! Gur'r'r'r'r.

And I got the results for the science test back... I did so badly! I got 27 out of 40. My friends got 24, 30 and 35. The lowest mark I know of is 18, and the highest is 38. Aah well, science was never my forte.

Also had some issues with my pacmate yesterday lol, it froze on me and then miraculously fixed itself.

And I'm still sore from going on the treadmill on Tuesday, doing the beeptest and walking on Wednesday!

Tuesday... Tuesday... what happened on Tuesday? Hmmm... hmmm... hmmm... I think that was the day we got to watch a commedy thing of King Arthur, it was hilarious! And... um... what else? Oh yess, I exhausted myself on the treadmill, running for 15 minutes straight, and it hurt. I'm soooo unfit.

Wednesday. Did the usual walking thingy for sport. Also sat through scripture and english, which are usually quite fun, but this time were rather annoying. I have the most sexist group of friends! Each table had to think of some characteristics of the opposite sex, and they thought of idiotic and immature. I could say that of some girls... *cough*. Why is it that in years 5 and 6, girls and guys will mingle freely, but in years 7 and 8, it's back to 5 year old mode!

Thursday... Thursday... oh yes, we cooked pasta salad and sausages. I had to shovel mine down in about 5 minutes, owing to the short timeframe we have to do everything in. It wasn't bad, I guess.

Yesterday. I was informed that we had a debate at lunchtime, I was to be in a team with the two worst people possible (they didn'teven have any experience), and the topic was that politics should stay out of sport. I frantically prepared with them at recess, with Emily helping us, and managed to write a tiny bit of my speech in double English and the rest in music. I mean, it was Taylor, so it wasn't as if we learnt anything... and music, well, same deal. Plus I had practically the whole lesson, since all we did was fiddle around on keyboards, and I did it under the desk of course.

And all that for nothing! There was a mix up with the third speaker of our team, some people weren't prepared, including me lol, so we didn't end up doing the bloody thing after all!

Today has been... interesting, I guess. pj_blindclown was supposed to have arrived at our place ages ago, but her mother is... um... rather, I dunno, preoccupied? I also listened to a stream done by jdx_random and psycho_rabbit, which was also... interesting. We spent the better part of about 3 and a half hours singing to So Fresh CDs, eating, playing foozball and doing random stuff on my keyboard. They also went into hysterics over Jaws, and how fast I have it. We did get the first scene of the script written though, as intended.

Nothing much else has happened since then, unless you count the fact that I am now, for some reason, unable to type, and... have taken part in many, skype, and ventrilo conversations... aaaahh I need sleep.
